The
Städelschule Architecture Class (SAC) presents the END-OF-YEAR PROGRAM.
The project SYNTHESIS OF THE NATURE AND ARCHITECTURE, present the students from Wednesday, 7.07 to Friday, 09/07/2010 the master thesis and course work in the diamond exchange, Stephan Strasse 1-3, Frankfurt.
The works will be made afterwards in the same premises of the interested public for three weeks available.
The master thesis work are designs for the Olympic Media Village - Porto Maravilha in Rio de Janeiro. The task is to design a building with mixed use in the urban context of the Olympic Media Village Games 2016.
The work of the first SAC-year, architectural designs for a country house and represent the results of one year individual research and experiments for students.
The jury of the presentation consists of a fine selection of international architects and architecture critics. the fourth consecutive year of Günter Bock Prize is awarded to a student the first year for outstanding performance. The prize is donated by the Lions Club Frankfurt airport and through the speakers of the Dean's Honorary Lecture, Prof. Jeffrey Kipnis presented.

The Städelschule Architecture Class (SAC), the exhibition presents the work of their students as part of the project SYNAAR, the Synthesis of Nature and architectue.
SYNNAR is a collaboration between the Escola da Cidade - Arquitetura e Urbanismo in Sao Paulo and the SAC. The project is collaboration to 2013 and includes various types of academic exchange and joint project work.
The project is based on Brazilian and European architecture and posits the possibilities of contemporary materials and technology Developments occur in the resulting challenges faced by the global architecture in the two areas. Under these conditions SYNAAR
trying new forms of formal and functional relationships between architecture and nature to explore. SYNAAR learns this from the theoretical models of both spheres. The qualities of artificial and natural systems include both the organization of form and their interaction at many levels of the exchange. In the context of sustainability as pervasive themes in the architecture, focusing specifically on SYNAAR to learn from nature in order to influence future development of the architecture.


The exhibition is divided into three parts:

VARIOUS
PANORAMA OF CONTEMPORARY BRAZILIAN ARCHITECTURE
The Panorama section of the exhibition of Contemporary Brazilian Architecture presents projects implemented in Brazil in recent decades. It consists of 50 panels that document the individual projects in text, drawings, photographs and concepts. The exhibition reflects the fascinating beauty of Brazilian culture and the great versatility of the contemporary national architecture.
The exhibition was curated by Ciro Pirondi and previously at Columbia University, New York and IIT, Chicago show.

As part of their end-of-Year events 2010 is particularly proud of the architecture class, a group of Frankfurt artists to exhibit selected works in the premises of the Diamond Exchange.
The group consists of Martin Neumaier, Hans Petri, Peyman Rahimi, BERNHARD SCHREINER, SEBASTIAN Stöhr, STEPHEN Suckale, NINA TOBIEN, Silke Wagner, STEFAN WIELAND and HOLGER LIBERTINE.
